History of the News Boy Cap- Although Flat caps have been around for 600 years, the Newsboy Cap with its rounded shape, 8-panels and button on top became popular with NewsPaper sellers on American city street corners and members of the Association of Lumber Handlers (later called The International Longshoremen's Union) in the 19th century.
